I've been using Java since 2017 alongside the JUnit testing suite. It's the first Object-Oriented language I learned, and is what most of my projects are written in.
I've used PostgreSQL or MySQL since 2018. SQL has been vital in any full application I've created, such as my Android Studio app, CWRUMapper.
I've dabbled in Python since 2019. Until recently, its role was restricted to scraping web data for JSON field population. I've been using it more heavily recently for financial data science.
Git has been the only version control tool I've used since 2017. I'm familiar with the command line as well as tools like Github Desktop.
The vast majority of my Excel experience is from creating responsive, user-friendly financial models. I've created models for CAPM, Gordon Growth, Black-Scholes, and DCF valuations.
I have some experience using Overleaf, an online TeX editor, to create various documentation for projects, assignments, and presentations in a clean and digestible manner.
I received a BS in Computer Science with a Software Engineering focus from Case Western Reserve University in 2021. I'm currently back in school pursuing an MS in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University, where I also work as a graduate assistant. I am intrigued by what emerging technologies can do for our civilization -- whether it be automating computer-based tasks, streamlining commercial platforms, embedding IoT-based systems, or generating insights from quantitative data, technology has a substantial reach into the corners of every industry. My goal is to work on these emerging technologies and be a part of the movement into the future.
Some of the things I've created -- like this webpage -- are hosted on Github. Check it out below!
